For me, the key to studying part time was planning my work well ahead and always leaving a little waggle room for short term changes! Something is bound to come up and may really detract from your focus.
Ask yourself in advance: when do I feel most focussed to read that case study and when am I in the mood for maybe more routine tasks such as spell checking the assignment?
Manage your time well and you will get there!
